Unsaid is operated by Ningbo Hou, an individual (“we”). By using this site you agree to these terms.

What Unsaid is

Unsaid is a software tool for self-reflection and entertainment. You describe a situation, and our software generates a written reflection, using illustrated cards as symbolic prompts. It does not predict the future, and nothing it writes is a fact, a promise or a guarantee of any outcome.

What Unsaid is not

It is not therapy, counselling, medical, psychiatric, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed professional. Please do not make important decisions about your health, safety, money or relationships on the basis of its output alone. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a helpline (in the US, call or text 988; elsewhere see findahelpline.com).

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use Unsaid.

AI-generated content

Readings are generated by AI language models and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for you. Treat them as prompts for your own thinking.

Purchases

• The final-card unlock is a one-time payment (currently US$2.99). It reveals your sealed final card reading and a 4-week action plan for that reading.
• An extra follow-up question is a one-time payment (currently US$0.99).
• There is no subscription and no recurring charge. No account is required.
• Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not see or store your card details.
• Prices may change; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. See the Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use Unsaid to harass others, to break the law, to attempt to disrupt or overload the service, or to extract our prompts, code or paid content by automated means. Do not enter information about other people that you have no right to share.

Intellectual property

Site design, code and generated text are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Card images are from the 1909 Rider-Waite-Smith deck illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith, which is in the public domain. Card meanings are adapted from the Tarotoo Open Dataset (MIT License).

Availability and changes

The service is provided “as is” and may be unavailable, change, or end at any time. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the updated terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the content, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
